Inspectors of Record

American Engineering Laboratories Inc. has inspectors of record who have the highest level of certification granted by the California Division of State Architect (DSA). They are fully qualified to provide inspections for large educational projects whether its k-12 or high education institutes.

AEL’s IORs are certified to perform various inspections. Some of which are welding, concrete, masonry, fireproofing, bolting, shotcrete, etc.

Our scope of services is, but not limited to:

• Project inspector will monitor and perform inspection services in accordance with the approved plans and specifications

• On-site inspections throughout duration of the project.

• Maintain Inspector Job File of project during construction including plans, submittals, addenda, etc.

• Attend all project/construction meetings

• Prepare daily reports and electronic distribution.

• Prepare timely semi-monthly reports and submit to DSA box.

• Monitor progress and completion of as-built drawings.

• Schedule testing and special inspection job activities.

• Verify all material delivered to the site relating to the project.

• Review and assist the District in verifying contractor's pay requests.

• Assist with DSA certification and close-out procedures
